Hello! I’m Amogh and I’m a freelance screenwriter and creative consultant. My most recent full-time role was Head of Content at Weirdass Comedy - comedian Vir Das’ production house based in Mumbai that specialises in comedic content across television, film, digital and audio in both short and long form formats.

In my career spanning over 15 years, I have written scripts for shows on Colours, Channel V, MTV, Bollywood award shows like Filmfare, IIFA, Stardust, Zee Cine and Balaji Film & Television Honours. I have also written for live events like Meta Creators Day, Netflix Films Day, Jio Studios Content Slate reveal and many more.

In the fiction/non-fiction OTT space, I have writing credits on ‘Hasmukh’ - an Indian fiction original currently streaming on Netflix, and writing/acting credits on ‘Jestination Unknown’ - an Amazon Prime Video original travel + comedy show. I have also developed, written and directed three audio original shows for Audible - ‘Be Stupid with Vir Das’, ‘Swami Hasyadev Maharaj’ and ‘Agla Station Investigation’.

I have also performed stand up comedy all across India, London, New York, New Jersey and Singapore.
